Tricare dental open enrollment

This year’s open enrollment season for choosing a dental plan runs from Nov. The choice you make will take effect Jan. You now have until Dec.


Open enrollment (or open season) is the time each year. Dental and Vision Open Season.

Please remember that only sponsors, or an individual with a valid Power of Attorney (POA), can enroll active duty family members in the TDP. We realize you are wrestling with many issues and concerns while dealing with the effects of the earthquake in Puerto Rico - your dental care shouldn’t be one of them. Available to retired service members and their family, retired National Guard and Reserve members and their family, Medal of Honor recipients, their family and survivors, TRDP is currently open for enrollment. There is no rollover, so make sure you enroll during open season! The good news: there are dental carriers from which to choose.


TRICARE and FEDVIP open enrollment season has begun. Any changes you make take effect on.

Enrollment choices made during this period take effect on Jan. Two different open seasons are now underway until Dec. Tricare For Life doesn’t require enrollment. Open Season is the only time beneficiaries can switch or enroll in a plan, unless you have a Qualifying Life Event.
