TRICARE Dental Program. A voluntary dental insurance program. National Guardsman up to age 23. The mission of the Purple Heart Smiles Program is to provide free braces to children age or younger of Georgia veterans who are Purple Heart recipients.

Please note: The TDP provides selected services including endodontic, periodontic, and oral surgery at a reduced cost-share for enrollees who are grades E-to E-4. Doesn’t apply to Selected Reserve and Individual Ready Reserve members (other than Special Mobilization Category) and their families.

TOPDs will not require you to pay their full charge at the time of service - only your applicable cost-share, if any. Tricare Active Duty Dental Program provides civilian dental care for specialty procedures or remotely stationed personnel. We offer traditional metal braces as well as ceramic brackets, clear aligner treatment, Phase I treatment, retainers, expanders, space maintainers, and surgical orthodontics.
